Shiny New Year
Well, hope you all had an amazing Christmas! Santa was EXTREMELY good to us this year! I am typing my very first blog post of the new year on my new MacBook Air! My Sony Vaio was good to me, had her since 2007, but hubby has been wanting to get me current for some time and he did me proud. I am now an Apple user! (Tips greatly appreciated as I was always a PC girl.) After a VERY busy trip to NYC for the Christmas holiday, we were pretty pooped when we got back before NYE. Let's just say that momma's in NYC deserve medals of honor! We took the subway system, a LOT, and hoisting up a stroller, carseat and baby up and down flights and flights of stairs each time gave me sore arms, bad back and appreciation for city moms. No complaints- we had an amazing time and I wouldn't have traded it for any elevator! Well, a couple here and there would have been nice!
Today was the first real day of leaving the house and getting out of pajamas. I left a couple times for food, and we did head to my mother in law's NYE day for breakfast, but since Sunday, we have pretty much stayed hunkered down at home. We stayed in for NYE and rang it in with apple cider, shrimp cocktail and cozy in our bed! Last night I managed to get workout clothes on and headed into a pilates class! So, needless to say, I was not dressed up and sparkly this NYE, so I thought I'd ring in 2014 a few days late. Here's to a shiny, new year! We had beautiful sunshine and 60 degrees today in Colorado! A trip to the park was mandatory!
Happy New Year to you all!
