Pink & Teething
Remy is teething. She had a fever for three days last week and finally a smidgen of a white, teeny tiny zoobie- (tooth in Czech) is appearing next to her bottom tooth that popped up in December. Now, nurses said this high of a temp is not due to teething, but this momma begs to differ. Same thing happened back in December with first tooth- fever for three days, no other signs of sickness, and then voila, a tooth. So, this week, she has been clingy and fussy and I saw this morning a smidgen of a teeny tiny zoobie coming in on the top as well. We have been on a nightly regime of Baby Orajel, a home remedy of olive oil and clove, and three teething tablets before bed. Seems to pacify her. Poor baby...I was nursing her tonight and a big tear came to her eye and rolled down. She must be hurting. She slept pretty much the entire day. I met a friend and her little man late this afternoon for an hour and came right home. She enjoyed the drive and loves watching momma take photos and it was a gorgeous afternoon to get a bit of fresh air before dinner. This post from Who What Wear in my inbox this morning inspired me to pull out my blazer. And I felt like wearing a dress. This one is lined with polyester and knit, but sleeveless so I was perfectly comfortable.

Whenever I wear this dress, it makes me happy and reminds me of Carrie Bradshaw in the SATC movie when she is on the phone with Samantha and tells her she is engaged...

I LOVE this last one! Never know what is creeping up behind you when you're using a tripod. This sweet man stopped and flirted with Remy. She did not give smiles today as she was a little under the weather, but I hope it brightened his day a little.
Thanks for reading!!!
